Two Warming & Cozy Winter Drinks to add to your Sweet Life!

Tea with lemon and ginger

GINGER DETOX TEA 

Ginger is anti-viral, and soothes the digestion. It’s also warming to your body, and calms an upset stomach pronto. This is one of my favorite detox drinks and is especially wonderful on a chilly day.

The added lemon is detoxifying and alkalizing, perfect for post-holiday body-system clean-up.

Ingredients:

1 piece fresh ginger, about 2 inches

2 organic lemons, peeled

cayenne pepper

Liquid stevia 

Preparation:

1. Add ginger and lemons to your high speed blender and blend.

2. Use about 6 teaspoon of this mixture and hot water to a large mug, with a few drops Stevia.

3. A shake of cayenne is optional.

GOLDEN TURMERIC MILK 

Anyone else love this delicious warming drink? Mmm - I’ve felt so tired and sore lately from my workouts, I remembered about this amazing drink... sure making me feel cozy ☺️

⭐️ Golden Turmeric Milk is a powerful Ayurvedic Indian drink with medicinal properties. 

It’s a great immunity booster when suffering from cough, cold, headaches, sore throat, sore joints etc. 

Here’s what you need: 

Mix together in a pot and bring to a boil, simmer for a minute or so then enjoy! 

1 c unsweetened almond or coconut milk

1 tsp turmeric

3 slices fresh ginger ( don’t worry about peel)

Fresh ground pepper - couple turns of the grinder 

Cinnamon

1 tsp honey or maple syrup
